Fat Pills - Which Fat Pill Will Work Best For You?

Author: Administrator
Think all fat pills are the same? Think again! There are at least three different types of pills you can take to reduce body fat, and there are significant differences between them. Let's pick three different fat pills that are on the market today and examine these differences.

Alli

With Winona Judd as their television spokesperson, Alli may be the most well-known of the popular fat blocker pills. Claiming to be the only over-the-counter weight loss pill that has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration, Alli also claims to increase weight loss by fifty percent as compared to just dieting on your own.

The Alli program consists of an individualized online action plan, and capsules that are taken with meals. So how do these fat capsules work? They contain an active ingredient that attaches to some of the enzymes in your digestive system. This prevents the enzymes from digesting about twenty-five percent of the fat you have eaten. The undigested fat is not absorbed but just passes naturally from the body.

The important thing to keep in mind with Alli, is that too much undigested fat can cause some unpleasant side effects, at some inconvenient times. As opposed to being a license to eat all of the fat you want, Alli actually requires controlling your fat intake in order to avoid potentially-embarrassing side effects.

Proactol

Because it also falls into the fat blocker category, Proactol is often confused with Alli. But while both products work to reduce the amount of absorbed fat, Proactol uses a different dietary process.

The Proactol program consists of taking 2-3 capsules after each meal. The capsules contain two types of dietary fiber, both coming from the "Opuntia ficus-indica" cactus plant, and each one doing something different to promote weight loss.

The first fiber is unsoluable and as it binds with fats in the digestive system, the fiber makes the undigested fat too large to be absorbed by the body. Like Alli, this process blocks about twenty-five percent of fat from being digested.

Then Proactol's unsoluable fibers bind with bile acids to slow down the digestive process. This provides the benefits of an appetite suppressant, because your stomach feels full longer.

The side effects of Proactol tend to be in the opposite direction of Alli. While the undigested fat from Alli can cause loose stools, the unsoulable fiber in Proactol can cause constipation. It's important to remember that when you alter the natural digestive process, there are bound to be repercussions. But the side effects of both products can be controlled by making the proper eating choices.

Caralluma Burn

Unlike Alli or Proactol, Caralluma Burn is not a fat blocker and it does not alter the way fats are digested. Instead, it falls into the category of "fat burning" pills and it works on the fat that has already been digested and stored in your body.

The primary active ingredient in Caralluma Burn is an extract from the Caralluma Fibriata plant that grows in India. This herb is a very potent appetite suppressant that reduces your food cravings. As you eat less, your body is forced to burn stored fat for necessary energy.

There are no reported side effects of Caralluma Burn, as it is an all natural herb and does not affect the digestive process.

The Similarities

Although working in different ways, each of the above products is used to reduce the body's stored fat reserves. More importantly, none of these products achieve their intended results through the use of caffeine or harmful stimulants.

There is another type of fat pill, not discussed in this article, that manipulates the body's metabolism through large does of caffeine and other stimulants. This type of fat pill can cause jitters, a racing heart and lack of mental concentration. It is important to point out that there are other methods of reducing stored body fat without resulting to dangerous dieting methods.

While no diet pill can replace the need for a healthy overall lifestyle, each of the above fat pills can help you achieve your weight loss goals faster. You just need to decide which type is best for you and then stick to your plan!
